Installation and Training

In our third collaboration with the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History, Hands On! was challenged to use paleontology as a tool for engaging visitors in the larger scientific process. The exhibition was developed to support the overall message, “Science is not just a collection of facts or a body of knowledge. It is a way of thinking.”

Hands On! with C.W. Shaw created an immersive Field Site and Laboratory environment to help visitors feel comfortable collecting data, interacting with fossils and asking questions like real scientists. The result? A fun, engaging exhibition that helps visitors experience scientific thinking and build their understanding of the past.

"Hands On! is rigorous in developing multiple critical communication strands in exhibitions. They develop a palette of experiences that enable visitors to learn through multiple modalities that support questioning, concept building and big ideas."
